That never trickish creature
Militate against us.

The only precious Lord
We may have life in salvation
Yonder and here beneath.

The most glorious Saviour
Give thy good heavenly blessing
To us in abundance.

Protect me always oh my Lord
Thou powerful Saviour
That he may sidetrack enemies
To go out of bondage.

Abide with us in thy truth Lord
Oh our merciful God
In afflictions abide with us
Let us surely endure.

When death these close our eyes
