Prepare O sinner to be wise

As long as you decide wisdom
The more hidden wisdom will be.

Get ready to ask for mercy

Before thy days on earth are o'er
Before this world's sunset arrives.

Prepare, O sinner to return
Do not wait until tomorrow
So you do not become accurs'd
Before tomorrow's day begins.

Prepare to receive a blessing

So that your lamp does not burn out
Before you begin a new life.

Lord, make the sinner to repent
Rouse him from his foolish slumber
