O God from all generations,
Thou art our rest and shelter too
Ere the world and this earth were made
Thy love is high above the sky.

Thou reigneth ere the world exist
Before the creation of men,
Thy Kingdom shall for ever be
Until that time the world shall end.

Death sweeps us away like river
The world exist in vanity
Like rays of sun in the morning
Cut and wither'd in the evening.

O let us know our wickedness,
And further our days here on earth
Until we are prepar'd for death
By sanctification of grace.
